Name tags checked again across the whole Bible
With every book in, the names that link the Korean Revised Version to entries were checked again, verse by verse.
In the Korean Revised Version reader, a name in the text links to its entry. With all 66 books in, every tag was computed again and every verse that gained or lost one was read.
- More word endings after a name are recognized, for example 예루살렘이니라 (Ezekiel 23:4) and 예수시라 (Hebrews 4:14).
- A town’s people are not the town: 예루살렘 거민 and 모압 거민 no longer link to the place. 레갑 족속 is the Rechabites, not Rechab, and 야곱 집 (Isaiah 58:1) is the nation, not the man.
- A name that only one entry has decides between entries that share another name: 에서 곧 에돔 (Genesis 36:1) is Esau, and 시몬 베드로 is Peter.
- 65 early hand-made tags that the rules reject were removed, among them the Egyptians (애굽 사람) in 42 verses.
- Jonah no longer takes Matthew 16:13–20 as evidence: “Simon Bar Jonah” in 16:17 names Peter’s father.
- Two open questions ask whether one entry holds one place or two: the Carmel of the prophets, and the Migdol of Exodus and of Jeremiah.
