Changelog

What changed on Bibliadatum, and why: books collected, records corrected, features added. The newest first.

This page was built from v0.2.0 (c2c8aef, 2026-11-06)

November 2026

  1. Improvement

    A place to send proposals

Facts to check, errors in a text, wrong links and rights questions can now be sent from the site. The form opens once it is ready.

  2. Improvement

We started a ledger of data changes

Every change to the published data is now recorded, with when and why. A change with no record does not reach the site.

  3. Correction

Editions taken down, and a new Hebrew text

Ten editions are off the site while their rights are checked. The Hebrew original is now the Unicode/XML Leningrad Codex.

  4. Improvement

Evidence links open your language, and your place stays

On the Korean pages, an evidence link now opens the KRV with the quoted edition beside it. Looking at evidence no longer moves your reading place.

  5. Improvement

A new name and address: Bibliadatum

The site now has its own domain, bibliadatum.org, and its real name. Biblepedia was the working name of the project.

October 2026

  1. Correction

A sample of entries checked in both languages, and thirty-one summaries corrected

Three models checked 300 real entries in Korean and, for the first time, in English, and a fourth weighed what they found. Thirty-one summaries said a little more than their verses, and now say only what the verses say.

  2. Correction

Twelve models compared on checking summaries, and one Galatians entry corrected

Before any model checks the whole collection, twelve were tried on test sheets with planted errors. The comparison also found one real slip, in a Galatians entry.

  3. New version

Version 0.2.0: the whole Bible collected

The version at the bottom of each page moves from 0.1.0 to 0.2.0. Since the site opened, every book of the Bible has been collected.

  4. Correction

Name tags checked again across the whole Bible

With every book in, the names that link the Korean Revised Version to entries were checked again, verse by verse.

  5. Collection

    All 66 books collected

Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Hebrews to Revelation complete the collection: every chapter of the Bible now has its entries and evidence.

  6. Collection

Isaiah, the Psalms and Paul's letters, among 25 books

Twenty-five books are collected at once: Isaiah, Hosea to Zephaniah, Psalms, Song of Songs, Lamentations, and Romans to Titus.

  7. Collection

    Daniel, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi

Daniel and the last three prophets of the Old Testament are collected.

  8. Collection

    Job collected whole

All 42 chapters of Job are collected, and its open questions are ready for human review.

  9. Collection

    Proverbs collected whole

All 31 chapters of Proverbs are collected, in 210 passages that cover its 915 verses.

  10. Improvement

The relationships page draws less, and stays smooth up close

Moving the pointer over relationships and turning types on and off no longer rebuild the whole 3D scene, entries stay smooth when you zoom in on the full network, names follow the layout once it settles, and the 2D view opens sooner.

  11. New feature

Differences marked, verses copied, suggested sets, and your editions remembered

Comparing editions got four tools: the words another edition in the same language changes are marked, a verse or a run of verses copies in every edition, suggested sets open good company in one click, and the editions you read side by side come back.

  12. Correction

Ten editions renamed, and what each edition is

Ten editions had names that did not match what they are. They now go by the right name, and every correction says why and cites its source; the supplier's texts are left as they are.

  13. New feature

    This changelog

What changes on the site, and why, is now written down here; the version label at the bottom of every page opens it.

  14. New feature

Up to three editions side by side, and reading focus

The edition library reads up to three editions in columns, each named by a chip; one dialog chooses any edition; reading focus leaves only the text.

  15. Collection

    2 Chronicles, Ecclesiastes and Philemon

Three more books bring the collection to 24 books and 566 chapters.

September 2026

  1. Collection

Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther and 1 Chronicles

The return from exile, the walls of Jerusalem, Esther and Purim, and the long lists of 1 Chronicles are collected.

  2. Collection

    2 Samuel, 1 Kings and 2 Kings

David’s reign, Solomon and the divided kingdom, Elijah and Elisha, to the fall of Jerusalem: three books collected in one day.

  3. New feature

Sourced locations for 283 places, and the collection progress page

Places are placed on the map from OpenBible.info’s geocoding data, each with its source and confidence, and a page shows how far the 66 books are collected.

  4. New feature

Reading the World English Bible with its evidence

In the World English Bible, the chapter’s people, places and events sit beside the text, its names open their entries, and its relationships and places can be drawn in place of the text.

  5. New feature

English first, and one Bible menu

The site opens in English unless your browser prefers Korean, and one "Bible" menu item opens reading straight away.

  6. Improvement

The relationships page and the edition library open much faster

Both pages had carried the whole graph before showing anything; they now load what they show first and fetch the rest when it is needed.

  7. Collection

    1 Samuel collected whole

From Hannah and Samuel’s birth to Saul’s death on Mount Gilboa, 1 Samuel is collected.

  8. Collection

    Judges collected whole

Judges, from Othniel and Deborah to Gideon, Jephthah and Samson and the war against Benjamin, is collected.

  9. Collection

The five books of Moses, Joshua and Ruth

Leviticus completed the five books of Moses, and Joshua and Ruth followed the same morning.

  10. Collection

    Acts and Deuteronomy

Acts, from the ascension to Rome, and Deuteronomy, from the words beyond the Jordan to the death of Moses, are collected whole.

  11. Collection

    Numbers, Mark, Luke and John

In one day Numbers was finished and the three remaining Gospels were collected whole.

  12. New feature

Lists of people, places and events

The encyclopedia gained a list for each kind of entry, with a name filter that matches other names and a book filter.

  13. Collection

Matthew, the first book outside the Torah

All 1,071 verses of Matthew are collected; with Genesis and Exodus, three of the 66 books are complete.

  14. Collection

    Genesis collected whole

Genesis 1–50, from creation to Joseph, is collected; where the text gives two accounts of a name, both stand.

  15. Collection

    Exodus collected whole

Exodus 1–40 is the first book collected from beginning to end: its people, places and events, each with the verses it rests on.

  16. New feature

The Korean Revised Version joins the edition library

The KRV became an edition of its own, so a Korean reader can put it beside any other edition, verse by verse.

  17. Collection

Why each held edition was held, and three of them added

Editions that had been held back were checked one by one against the supplier’s files; three differed only in verse numbering and joined the library, which grew to 104 editions in 45 languages.

  18. New feature

English pages, a sitemap, and privacy and terms

Every page got an English version, search engines got a sitemap, and the site published what it keeps in a browser and what leaves it.

  19. New feature

Every relationship with the passage it rests on

Each person, place, event and relationship in the graph points to the verses it comes from, and a review path records what a person has checked.

  20. New feature

    Biblepedia opens

The Korean Revised Version in full, a library of 101 public-domain editions, a map, and a 3D graph of the people, places and events the text names.
