Collection

Isaiah, the Psalms and Paul's letters, among 25 books

Twenty-five books are collected at once: Isaiah, Hosea to Zephaniah, Psalms, Song of Songs, Lamentations, and Romans to Titus.

  • Isaiah: the vision of Isaiah, Immanuel, the shoot from Jesse, the burdens on the nations, Sennacherib and Hezekiah’s sickness, and from chapter 40 the comfort of God’s people, the servant, Cyrus, and new heavens and a new earth.
  • Hosea to Zephaniah: Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk and Zephaniah. Gomer and her children, the outpouring of the Spirit, Amaziah of Bethel, Jonah and Nineveh, Habakkuk’s prayer.
  • Psalms, Song of Songs and Lamentations: the 150 psalms in their own words, the Song in 24 passages, and the five laments.
  • Romans to Titus: twelve of Paul’s letters, with their openings and greetings, Phoebe, the collection for the saints, the escape from Damascus, Paul’s visits to Jerusalem, Epaphroditus and Onesiphorus.
  • 805 events, 42 new people and 8 new places. Prophecy and poetry are told as what the text says. The letters and the poetry have no place on the timeline.
  • New open questions where these books meet earlier ones, among them the Joel of Acts 2:16, the earthquake of Amos 1:1, Silvanus and Silas, and Paul’s visits to Jerusalem.

The collection now covers 55 of the 66 books and 1,033 chapters. Collected with AI assistance and awaiting human review.
