Manasseh builds a wall, removes idols, and restores the altar
므낫세가 성벽을 쌓고 우상을 제거하며 단을 중수함
2 Chronicles 33:14–17: he builds an outer wall to David’s city from west of Gihon toward the fish gate, encircles Ophel, and places captains in Judah’s fortified cities. He removes foreign gods, the idol, and altars, restores the LORD’s altar, offers peace and thanksgiving sacrifices, and commands Judah to serve the LORD. The people sacrifice only to the LORD, though still at high places.

14Now after this, he built an outer wall to David’s city on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance at the fish gate. He encircled Ophel with it, and raised it up to a very great height; and he put valiant captains in all the fortified cities of Judah.
15He took away the foreign gods and the idol out of the LORD’s house, and all the altars that he had built in the mountain of the LORD’s house and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.
16He built up the LORD’s altar, and offered sacrifices of peace offerings and of thanksgiving on it, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD, the God of Israel.
17Nevertheless the people still sacrificed in the high places, but only to the LORD their God.

Names in the World English Bible text that carry this entry’s tag. They are carried over from the tags on the Korean Revised Version, which are matched by name inside chapters that already have collected evidence, and a verse where the English says “he” carries none. All await human review. They are a separate list from the source passages above. An empty list does not mean the entry is absent from the text.
